Hey Megan,
Can I get some advice on custom triggers mid journey. I am trying to ascertain if I use the same trigger mid journey, as used as the entry for the journey, does the trigger re-evaluate?
Example.
– Trigger for journey entry = event registration created.
– Mid-journey attribute split using the above trigger with additional condition of event attended = yes.
Would the trigger be a snapshot from entry, or would it re-evaluate and see the event registration in question was updated in the dataverse?
Hi Harley, if you use a trigger mid journey (such as start a trigger or wait for a trigger) you can’t get values from that additional trigger. However, if you have branches, the values are re-checked at that point to see what the data is at that point in time. Hope that helps!
